Chronology of the formation of the compensation mechanism for damage caused by the military aggression of the Russian Federation:

1. 14 November 2022 The UN General Assembly adopted a work plan to ensure compensation for damages from the military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. At the first stage, it is planned to create a register of damages from military aggression. The beginning of his work – September 2023 year. It is defined in the adopted regulatory document, that applications from citizens of Ukraine can be submitted to the loss register, which suffered damage in any form as a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine. At the next stage, a compensation commission should be formed, which will consider applications from citizens and legal entities for compensation.
2. 17 May 2023 year at the summit of the Council of Europe in Reykjavík(Iceland) 40 states signed a political declaration on the creation of the Loss Register, caused by Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
